Dog-friendly holiday parks at Center Parcs
Going out together with your dog? That's really enjoying yourself! While you relax in nature, your pet is also having the time of its life. Your dog is welcome at all our parks, with plenty of off-leash areas, beautiful walking routes and swimming spots nearby. Do you really want to make a party of it? These parks offer that little bit extra for an unforgettable holiday together. There are multiple parks where the dogs can even enjoy a swim in the lake!
What can you do in the area with your dog?
To make it a great holiday for your dog, there are various areas to discover near our parks. Think of off-leash areas, dog beaches and dog zones where your four-legged friend can romp around. A few tips!
Walking and playing at Brouwersdam - Port Zélande, The Netherlands
On this dog beach, your dog can run around freely, run and play in the sand. A paradise for four-legged friends! There is also plenty to do for you at the Brouwersdam. Enjoy the view over the Grevelingenmeer, spot boats in the marina and go along the Brouwerspuisluis to spot seals.
Walking in the Loonse and Drunense Dunes - De Kempervennen, The Netherlands
The Loonse and Drunense Dunes are 45 minutes from De Kempervennen. An impressive nature reserve with the largest sand drifts in Western Europe. You will find beautiful walking routes here where you can go on an adventure with your dog. This area proves once again how beautiful the Netherlands can be!
But there is more!
On most parks dogs must be leashed, but are very welcome on outdoor terraces, can swim in the lake, and dog toilets are available.
- Discover Lac d'Ailette: located in the enchanting Champagne region in France. In the surrounding you can find popular dog-friendly walking routes around the lake which will give you enough possibilities to discover the environment with scenic walks with your dog.
- Explore Bispinger Heide: situated in Germany, near the Lüneburger Heide National Park, ideal for amazing walks through nature, to protect the local wildlife and maintain the integrity of the protected areas, visitors are required to stay on designated paths and avoid disturbing the environment.
Rules and tips for a holiday with your dog
To ensure that you, your dog and the other guests have a great stay at Center Parcs, we would like to share a few rules and tips with you:
- Bring your dog along: your four-legged friend is welcome in most places, but keep him away from central facilities such as the petting zoo and Aqua Mundo.
- Maximum number of dogs: most parks allow a maximum of 2 dogs per cottage, we advise you to keep an eye on the dog icon per holiday village.
- Leash policy: dogs must always be kept on a leash in the park, except in special off-leash areas.
- Dog supplies: bring your own toys, a food bowl and a cushion, or ask at the park about the available dog supplies. This varies per park.
- Food and drink: dogs are allowed on some terraces and drinking bowls are also available.
